| Field notes | Stem solitary, erect, 10 m tall, 14 cm diam. at base, 11 cm at top, with c. 20 stilt roots, 75 x 3.5 cm. Leaves 7 spreading; crownshaft 132 cm, light green, petiole 18x3.5 cm, rounded below, channelled above, rachis, 217 cm; pinnae undivided, 32 per side, pendulous all in one plane; lower pinnae 38x5.5 cm, middle pinnae 123x9 cm, upper 30x26 (top entire). Inflorecense buds 16-17 per node. |
