| Field notes | Stem solitary, erect, green, 2.5 -4 m tall, 4 -6 cm diam., nodes 2 -4 cm apart. Leaves 3 -5; sheaths forming a distinct green crownshaft 35 -58 cm long; petiole 24 cm long; rachis 150 cm long; pinnae 23 per side evenly spaced and in one plane, the lower 49 x 2 cm, the middle one 68 x 9 cm, the apical 34 x 8 cm. Inflorescences solitary at the nodes, pendulous at anthesis and in fruit; peduncle 27 cm with a prophyll and 3 bracts; rachis 8 cm; rachillae 15, 9 -12 cm long. Immature fruits globose, green, ripening red, (same species as 62092, different from 62088). |
