| Field notes | Male. Cespitose, stem 1.5 m tall, green, covered with persistent leaf sheaths. Inflorescences erect, infrafoliar, all staminate, 3 at one node, peduncle, rachis and rachillae white at anthesis, scented, visited by small flies and beatles, bracts green. Pressed specimen consists of 1 leaf, 3 inflorescences preserved in spirit. |
