Field notes Secoya: "Unque-hé". A tree with 40 cm in diam trunk, 15 m tall, without buttreses. Fruits hanging below the crown on up to 1 m long branches, each receptacle from one flowerhead bearing up to 20 light brown pods. Uses: The seeds and the inside of the pods are covered with a "honey" that is eaten.
