Field notes "Quichua: ""Chiricaspi"". Shrub to 1 m high. Flowers lilac. Bark of base of stem scraped off for a drink that makes you drunk (halucinogenic?). Medicinal: tooth ache (same scraping of trunk). Drink a little for body ache´s."
