| Field notes | Terrestrial treelet to 4 m tall, growing solitary in pasture in area of cut overrain forest on terra firme. Stem ca 5 cm diam, erect, unbranched, with largeleaves at all the nodes towards the top. Leaves with large stipules covering the stem, petiole ca 30 long; blade 4 times palmately compound ca 120 x 100 cm with more branching in the center-apical direction and less branching in the center-basal direction. Inflorescence terminal with ca 40-50 cm long rachis and ca 100 sidebranches, of which the longest ??? reach ca 100 cm length. |
