| Field notes | "Quichua: Guambula. Tree collected in garden of native house but also ground in virgin forest. Uses: This tree is used for wood, to treat ""granos"" and also used for fishing. The bark is boiled and the ""granos"" are the washed with the water. The bark is used as a fishpoison. Contra indication: The extract should be kept away from the eyes as it can blind." |
