| Field notes | Quichua: Lobopanga. Shrub to 3 m high. In forest clearing near native house. Uses: To treat skin infections ("granos de la piel infectados"). Preparation: The leaves are dried in the sun; they are then crushed into a powder which is placed on the affected part of the body. |
