| Field notes | A slender palm tree to 30 m high. Base surrounded by dense cover of adventitions roots, each 7-8 mm in diam, reddish. Trunk smooth ca 15 cm in diam, greyish. Crown with leaves with arching rachis and two rows of dropping leaflets. Specimen taken from young individual. Leaves with envoloping leafsheats to 50 m long leaf ca 3 m long, 80 cm wide, ? ca 60 leaflees on each side. |
