| Field notes | Quichua: Sapupaja panga. Epiphyte on tree trunk in tall virgin forest on terra firme. Uses: Against death-fear. Preparations: When someone is close to dying this plant is taken (preparation not understood well by me) and the dying person will become incenciensious and sometimes come back to life again. |
