Field notes Quichua: Cumalo. Español: Camote. Cultivated. A trailing vine producing fleshy tubers. Uses: Edible, for woonds. Preparations: The tubers are boiled like potatoes. The leaves are mashed and applied to woonds to tasten the healing.
