| Field notes | "Quichua: Cavallo-caspi. Sapling in tall forest on terra firme. Uses: For strength. Preparation: The plant is uprooted and the bark of the root is scraped of and mixed with water. This mixture is drunk and it will give you strength so you can work like an animal and defend yourself against anyone. It is used especially when you feel dominated by an other person. It is used together with ""Chuchuwasha"" (Balslev- ) and ""Aya-cruz-caspi"" (Balslev-2858). First Chuchuwasha, then Aya-cruz-caspi and last Cavallo-caspi." |
