| Field notes | "Quichua: Quicayuyu. Trailing leafless stem along the forest flor in tall forest on terra firme. Said never to produce leaves or flowers. Uses: Against fungus infections. Preparations: The stems are mashed together with leaves of ""Cuica paju panga"" (HB-2835), ""Pucacuica paju panga"" (HB-2836) and tobacco and the mixture is heated in water and applied to the affected part of the body." |
