| Field notes | "Quichua: Chini curu paju panga; Tsingra panga. Epiphyte on tree trunk in virgin forest on terra firme. Uses: For ""electric sensations"" in the legs and for treating woonds. Preparations: For the electric sensations in the legs the plant is boiled in water and the leg is held in the vapor, then the leaves are taken up and applied to the leg and finally the leg is bathed in the water extract. For woonds the as of burned leaves is applied to the woond and it will head soon." |
