| Field notes | Quichua: Bacacaracha. Epiphyte climbing on trees in clearing near indigenous house. Uses: Against white fungus infections on the body. Preparations: The plant is boiled in water and the solution is drunk. Then the infected place is treated with tobacco that has been burned in a flame. Contra indications: Not known. |
