| Field notes | "Quichua: Puca quica paju panga. Terrestrial herb in shady places along the trail in virgin forest on terra firme. Leaves dark green with pink lines along nervation. Uses: Against fungus infection. Preparations: The leaves are mashed together with tobacco, ""Cuica paju panga"" (No. HB-2435) and ""Quica yuyu"" (No. HB-2847) and heated in water and then applied to the affected part of the body." |
