| Field notes | Quichua: Lumu lisan (=Toquillo para Yucca). Uses: The bulb is mashed and mixed with Acniote and the mixture is spread over the Yuccapoles before they are planted. The leaves of this grass is then used to ventila? the poles. This is done to scence a good harvest? of the plant. |
