| Field notes | Español: Orégano. Quichua: Calientura-panga (Hoja de calientura). Arbusto o trepadora hasta 1 metro de altura. Esteril. Usos: Contra fiebres y gripes (preventivo). Preparacion: Branches with leaves are boiled with water and the mixture is drunk to prevent fevers and colds, and the person is also bathed in the mixture. Contraindications: Not known. |
