| Field notes | Climber with very long spines on leaf sheath petiole, and rachis. Petiole ca. 60 cm, rachis 2-3 m long with 17 leaflets per side, irregular distr. along rachis. Basal pinnae 35x4 cm. Middle pinnae 50-60 x 5 cm. Rachis extended to spiny cirrhus. Infl. ca 80 cm long with 6 rachillae, rachillae 20-30 cm long |
