| Field notes | Caespitose palm with 16 stems; stem 580 cm tall, dbh. 10 cm. With four leaves attached over a distance of 100 cm, leafsheath 85 cm, petiole 22 cm, rachis 178 cm; pinnae in not easily distinguishable groups of 6,6,5,5,5,8,16 on one side, first pinnae in each group more erect than the rest which are almost in one plane. With 2 infructescences, one with mature red fruits: peduncle 25 cm, rachis 10.5 cm, with 38 rachillae, longest rachillae (basal) 19.5 cm long. |
