| Field notes | Young acaulescent individual. Five leaves, petiole 25 cm, rachis 475 cm, pinnae in 2 X 35 groups, the different pinnae in each group pointing in different directions. Vernacular name: Iñayua (Achuar). The leaf-rachis is used to make blowgun darts. Informants: Carlos and Alfredo Mashient. |
