| Field notes | Solitary palm, 7 m tall, DBH 5 cm. Base of stem with stiltroots to 60 cm above ground, 3 cm in diameter. Leaves entire, numbering 6 + 1 spearleaf. Entire leaf previously unreported among Iriarteoid palms. Additional information: see enclosed note. |
