| Field notes | Vegatation: disturbed bosque humedo. Shrub, 2 m, young stems rusty brown; leaves semi-coriaceous-rubbery, rugose, very discolorous, venation intented above, dark bottle-green glossy above, with a rusty brown indumentum below especially on the raised venation; calyces creamish green with a red tinge espcially on the lobes, petals creamish white with reddish apices, filaments and the anthers white. Common in exposed sites of secondary scrub |
