| Field notes | Vegetation: bosque humedo andino, secundary scrub and cultivation. Climber with purplish pink stems; leaves slightly fleshy, grass-green with pale yellow margins, base purple-red; bracts green, outher tepals pale pink outher face, green apex, inner face almost white with green apex more vivid, inner tepals basal two thirds cream, upper third olive-green flecked dark purple, central vertical pink band, filaments, style and stigma white, anthers very dark purple, ovary dull apple green |
