| Field notes | Tree, 4 m x 20 cm diam., elegant compact crown to within 1 m of the ground, bark smoothish, horizontally banded pale greyish white and pale pink; leaves coriaceous, dark green glossy above, paler yellowish green and dull below; fruits +/- hard, ellipsoid, ilive-green with a slight purplish brown tinge. Bosque margin. Uncommon. |
