| Field notes | Vegatation: tussock grass paramo with Loricaria and Gentianaceae. Prostrate herb from deep taproot, white sap exuded from cut roots; leaves held erect, coriaceous, yellowish green; petals white, each with a very pale grey-green central vein, staminal column white, anthers grey. locally common in paramo on 30 cm deep black humic soil. Sometimes growing together with Lewis & Lozano 2796. |
