| Field notes | Scandent shrub 6 m x 8-10 cm diam.; leaves coriaceous, dark bottle green slightly glossy above, much paler below with a pale rust-coloured indumentum and primary and secondary veins greenish; calyces green, petals cream, filaments white, anthers pale yellow; fruits hard, subglobose, dark green. Locally common in bosque. |
