| Field notes | Vegetation: bosque humedo, secondary scrub and cultivation. Tree to 4m x 8 cm diam., bark smooth, silvery grey, lichen blotched, leaves semi-coriaceous, dark green glossy above, paler and dull below, inflorescences ramiflorous, calyces pale green, corollas very pale creamish green, anthers yellow, stigmas fleshy, very pale creamishopaque. Understorey tree at bosque margin. Apparently uncommon |
