| Field notes | Tree 4 m x 10 cm diam.; leaves coriaceous, discolorous, dark green glossy above, rusty buff tomentose below; buds dusty tomentose, petals white, filaments white, anthers pale yellow; fruits hard, globose, green; globules of orange resin at the base of inflorescences. Less common than Lewis et al. 2664, but probably just a larger flowered form of it. |
