| Field notes | Tree 3-5 m, leaves coriaceous, very discolorous, mid-to yellowish green glossy above, rusty-brown greyish tomentose below; buds rusty-brown tomentose, inner face of petals white, filaments white, anthers pale yellow; individual inflorescences opening from base to apex of panicle with exception of terminal inflorescence which opens before several below it. Locally common on bosque margin. |
