Climber to 5 m; leaves bluish mid-green; pedicels dark purple almost black, ovary/receptacle dark purplish red; outher tepals pink with green apex, inner tepals pale yellowish on lower two thirds, appel-green on apical third, a central, vertical band dividing petals in two, filaments creamish yellow, anthers green; immature fruits green tinged purple-black.
