| Field notes | Tree7 m x 30 cm diam.; bark smoooth, patched shades of white, grey and pink lichens, open wide, inverted-cone-shaped crown, leaves semicoriaceous, discolorous, dark green above, greyish white below with a thin pale brown indumentum; calyces pale greenish white, petals white, filaments white, anthers yellow; a ring of fused bracts below inflorescences and whorl of leaves. Remnant, elegant tree in pasutreland. Infrequent. |
