| Field notes | Acaulescent. Leaves 11; sheath of lower leaf 15 cm; petiole 30 cm; rachis 63 cm; pinnae to 11 per side, basal pinna 26 x 10 cm, middle pinna 28 x 3 cm, apical pinna 24 x 10 cm. Inflorescence to 2 per plant, interfoliar, erect; prophyll 19 cm; peduncular bract 25 cm, inserted just above prophyll; peduncle 31 cm, 0.4 cm wide, flattened; rachis 15 cm, 0.9 cm wide; fruits subglobose, green, 0.8 x 0.7 cm. Note: growing in a rather moist site. |
