Leaves 5-6, erect; sheath 16 cm, closed for 2 cm, fibrous margins; petiole 28 cm, rounded below, flat above; rachis 40 cm, pinnae 3-7 per side, 1-10 veined, sigmiid, shining green (lustrous) above, lower pinnae 25 x 5 cm, middle pinnae 28 x 11 cm, apical pinnae 20 x 11 cm. Inflorescence bud infrafoliar, prophyll 12 cm, 1.2 cm wide, erect, no peduncular bract.
