| Field notes | Solitary. Stem to 1.5 cm diam, procumbent, light green; internodes 6 -7 cm. Leaves 4; sheath 21 cm closed; petiole 17 cm, rounded; rachis 31 cm; pinnae 6 per side, sigmoid, basal pinnae 13 X 3 cm, middle pinnae 20 X 7 cm, apical pinnae 17 X 8 cm. Inflorescences (staminate) 2, one per node, infrafoliar; one prophyll and 5 peduncular bracts; peduncle 45 cm; rachis 7 cm; rachillae 14, the lower bifurcate, the rest simple, hanging down, 22 cm long, green. Inflorescence (pistillate, taken from another plant) interfoliar; peduncle 36 cm; rachis 1 cm; rachillae 5, erect, 15 cm long, green. |
