| Field notes | Sterile voucher. Solitary palm. Stem to 4 m. Leaves 9-10, old leaves often persistent for a long time. Sheath 14 cm long, 8 cm broad at base; margin reticulate fibrous; petiole up to 20 cm; rounded below, flattened above, rachis 40 cm; leaves irregularly oivided from 3-jugate to 12 pinnae per side.
