| Field notes | Tall herb with wand-like branches to 1 m tall, racemosely paniculate, flowers open (at 10:30 a.m.), white with light pinkish tinge, petals cuneate obovate;stamens and style deflexed somewhat downward; 10 long stamens at base, whorl of 5 short ones at top of staminal tube; style branches 10, slightly spreading, each with a tuft of hair at tip. |
