| Field notes | Solitary palm, stilt roots in the first 40 cm at the base of the trunk. Height 7 m, diam. 6 cm. Leaf: sheath 80 cm, petiole 57 cm, rachis 172 cm long. 16 pairs of segments. Infrutescence: peduncle 20 cm long. 5 rachillae, 12-15 cm long. Fruit brown reddish at maturity, 4 cm high x 2.8 cm wide |
