| Field notes | in upland forest on well drained soils (orthic acrisol, FAO). In clumps of up to 6 uxes, 4-5 m in height. stem diam. 1.5 cm. Leaf: 4-pinnate; sheath 20 cm long, petiol-e 60 cm long. With one inflorescence and one infrutescence. Rachis and rachillae red at maturity. Fruit: blue black at maturity, 1.4 cm wide |
