Evergreen epilithic treelet or shrub to 5 m tall (treelet) or Im tall (shrub), basal diameter 12 cm (treelet) or 3 cm (shrub), no sap. Petioles light green leaf blades dark glossy green above pale green below, peduncles yellowy green calyx yellowy-green with maroon margin, anther cream, filaments white buds red-brown. Musty scent, sticky secretion. Bracts harbour ants, fls attract scarab beetles. |
