| Field notes | Caespitose, with 1-3 stems, these to 1.5 m tall, 1.5-2.5 cm diam., light brown. Leaves 8-10; sheath 14-16 cm long; petiole 55-65 cm long; rachis 30-40 cm long; pinnae 3-8 per side. Inflorescences interfoliar; peduncle 9-36 cm long; rachis ca. 1 cm long; rachillae 2-5. Staminate flowers pink with white anthers. Very common. Dupl. AAU, QCA, QCNE, COL, NY. |
