| Field notes | Small tree, 4-5 m tall; two stems, ca. 5 cm in diam., tapering. Developing leaves with a thin brown indument on petiole and upper side of leaflets, mature leaves glabrous. Sideshoots present in upper 3 leaf axils. Inflorescence branches erect, 3-4 per shoot, with a sparse brown indument. Flowers in oblong, sessile heads, in pistillate anthesis, pale yellowish-green, with a sparse brown indument; styles 5, green.
