| Field notes | Plant to 4 m tall. Leaves 2-3 per shoot, to 4 m long, sheath c. 1 m long, pulvinus 20 cm long, blade 13x59 cm. Inflorescence about 60 cm long, lower node with 3-6 branches, each to 50 cm long. Flowers white. Fruits pale greyish green, round-triangular in cross-section, sessile or with pedicel to 3 mm long. Inflorescence axis with light brown pubescence. |
