| Field notes | "Clustering herb with c. 10 stems; inflorescence c. 30 m long, creeping-ascending; peduncle white, bracts red, the flowerbracts pale red and whitish. Shoots to 3.5 m long, with no leaves on lower 1 m, leaves for 1.5 m, and terminal leaflets part 1 m, bending towards ground, apparently capable of rooting. Ligule biparted, with lateral lobes to 1,5 cm green with whitish papyraceous margin" |
