Sterile at least 25 m long, 5 cm in with sheaths, 2.5-3 cm without, green, smooth, with scattered spines in vertical rows of 2-5; spine bands flat, ca. 2 cm long, yellow brown. Internodes 50-80 cm; robust, to 5 m long; leaflets ca. 30 per side, regularly inserted. No cirrhus. Sterile" |
