| Field notes | Solitary. Stem decumbent, erect part 1 m tall, 4 cm diam. Leaves entire to irregularly split in two segments per side. Sheath 25 cm long, petiole 26 cm long, rachis 64 cm long, blade 85 x 35 cm, bifid. Infructescence erect; peduncle 47 cm long, 7 3 mm thick, green except apically; bract 25 cm long, spike 25 x 1 cm, vine red. Fruits green, elliptical, 10 x 6 mm, maturing yellow |
