| Field notes | Tree, 3 m tall. Developing leaves with a thin brown indument, soon glabrous. Sheath with some lenticells, ligule and petiole smooth. Developing fruits white, with bordeaux apex. Fruiting branches 14, on a 2-3 cm long main axis, erect to spreading, lower ones curving downwards |
