| Field notes | High climbing rattan, with stem approximately 2 cm in diameter. Sterile. Apical part of young shoots covered with a net-like, delicate tube build by the ants. Ants abundant, very noisy. Scale insects cultivated in groups around spines on dorsal part of petidle on youngest leaves. Ants and scale insects collected separately |
