| Field notes | Solitary. Stem 4 m tall, 4-6 cm in diam., light brown. Leaves 12, sheath 50-70, petiole 30-40, rachis 130-160 with 24-26 pinnae per side, these ±regularly inserted in one plane, curviong downwards, giving leaf a somewhat ragged appearance; pinnae with 1-4 primary veins. Inflorescence reddish, branched to 2 orders. |
