| Field notes | Tree, 5-6 m tall. Leaves reddish-brown below. Floral bracts very light pink. Hypanthium light green. Petals white, hyaline. Filaments, style, and anthers bright yellow at anthesis, turning rust-red with age. Frequent in the forest. |
